After School Clubs

A wide range of extra-curricular sporting activities are available to cater for, encourage and extend children's differing interests and abilities.  These activities, which are open to boys and girls, include school clubs, inter-school competitions and matches in football, netball, athletics, swimming, cross-country, tennis, cricket, gymnastics and rugby.  We also have a cheerleading club which children from Reception to Year 6 can attend. Why not read a review of the latest Y5 versus Y6 football game.

We have links with Abraham Guest High School, which enable children to take part in badminton, tag rugby and trampolining. We also offer judo, gymnastics, football, rugby and cricket and multi-skills coaching as extra curricular activities. Coaches from Wigan Athletic and Wigan Rugby Clubs and Community Athletics work with children in school time and run lunch time and/or after school clubs.

We also have Multi-sports clubs, Upper school on Mondays and Lower school on Tuesdays, these are after school clubs. See Mrs McCann if you would like to get involved.

Also, we have a Tuesday dinnertime Fencing Club. This is proving very popular. Did you know that Fencing is an Olympic and Paralympic Sport!
