Transition booklets EYFS
Welcome to the Reception webpage! Here you will find the weekly plan for your child’s home learning. There are activities set out on the learning grid below.
We ask that, if possible, you take a picture of some of your work and send it to the email address (found at the foot of the learning grid) by the end of Thursday’s learning each week. This will enable us to monitor and support your child’s learning. We will contact families who are not emailing in in order to offer support.
We fully appreciate that children may not be able to access all home learning set, however, it is important for us to monitor what is being accessed so that we can offer support if necessary.
This is a new publication providing advice to parents and carers of children aged between 2 and 4. It gives valuable advice on home learning during the Coronavirus lockdown.

Welcome to Reception
Welcome to our Reception page. Here we will upload information, pictures and all kinds of exciting things showing you what we have been learning about in school.
We provide first hand experiences through play which reflect children’s personal interests in order to develop their natural curiosity and motivation to learn.
Our learning environments are happy, safe and stimulating places with opportunities for children to enjoy learning, develop confidence, self esteem and build good relationships with others.
We are really proud of the way that our youngest children have settled into their new Reception classes. They are all happy and ready to learn. We have started to explore our 7 Areas of Learning both indoors and outside. The children are enthusiastic and excited about their new environment.
We love to sing, dance and make music. We also enjoy bible stories. We had so much fun adding the actions to our song about Noah's Ark.
