We usually hold a formal open afternoon in the Autumn Term. so you can see the school in action.  We also offer pre-arranged tours with the Early Years Leader or headteacher.  If you want to arrange a tour please contact the School Office.

In-year transfer applications

Appeals for children refused a place at a preferred school as a result of an in-year transfer application will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

Applying for Secondary School 2024

The application form is now available on line to apply for Secondary School 2024 - https://www.wigan.gov.uk/Resident/Education/Schools/School-Admissions/Secondary-schools.aspx

The online portal may ask you for a UID number, you do not need the UID number to apply, you just need to click no UID and you will be able to continue with the application form.

The closing date for applications is 31st October 2023.

It is important that you read the ‘Applying for a place at primary school 2024/25 booklet on the Council website before making your application.

Supplementary Forms

As our school is a Wigan voluntary aided (church) primary school the governors will need extra information so that they can consider your application against their faith criteria. If you do not give this information your child may be refused a place.

You are strongly advised to complete a supplementary information form for each voluntary aided school you name as a preference.

Forms are available on the church school forms webpage or by requesting a copy from the school.

Parents are responsible for checking that supplementary forms sent by post have been received by the school.

The closing date for applications is 15th January 2024.
