PTFA

What is the PTFA?

Our ‘Parents, Teachers and Friends Association’ are committed to supporting the School, children and staff. We fundraise to buy those little extras for the children and for the bigger projects, like the new build extension and I pad trolleys.

Who are the members of the PTFA ?

Every parent and Employee of the School is automatically a member of the PTFA. All members are welcome to attend any of our meetings. We are led by a Committee consisting of a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer together with a number of people who do not have a designated role, but who agree to be members of the committee. We are a friendly, enthusiastic and informal group!

What do we raise money for?

The PTFA work hard to fundraise to provide extra resources and experiences for the children.

The PTFA money has been spent on:

Reception book bags

Christmas book gift for every child

Y6 Leavers' books

Christmas parties/entertainment

Outdoor play equipment

So as you can see your money makes a real difference to your child's education.

Thanks for your support at our events!

How do I get involved?

New faces and new ideas are always welcomed, as are volunteers to help at any event. If you would like to find out more please speak to either Mrs Murphy (Chairperson) or Mrs Baxendale (School Representative).

P.T.F.A.

For the second year, our P.T.F.A. gave every child a book for Christmas. This year we were lucky enough to have Father Christmas drop into the Key Stage One Christmas Party to hand them out. We had a lot of excited children and teachers!

Foundation Stage staff and children would like to thank the PTFA for their wonderful new outdoor pod. The children have had lots of fun using it to support their learning in the outdoors.
