Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is an amount of funding that is allocated to schools based on the number of children currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals, or who have been eligible for Free School Meals within the last 6 years. This funding is additional to main school funding and it is for schools to decide how it is spent. However, we are accountable for how we have used the additional funding.
At Highfield St. Matthew’s C.E Primary, we use the Pupil Premium in a variety of ways to ensure all pupils can achieve their very best, regardless of their background or difficulties.
It is important to us that all our children achieve their full potential, in line with our school mission statement. Therefore, the progress of the children supported by Pupil Premium funding is carefully monitored.
